Google, Inc. today made the announcement to double all GMail account capacities to 2GB, up from 1GB, which was offered when Google first launched its GMail e-mail service to compete against Yahoo and Hotmail.

A year after GMails official launch, Google is still going strong with its GMail announcements. According to the search engine, its goal is to make sure that online storage is not an issue to GMail users.

After Google initially launched its e-mail service, Yahoo and Hotmail followed shortly with a storage update to all user accounts in hopes of staying in the market. Even then, however, they failed to offer as much capacity as Google.

Google has been working to make GMail more than just another web e-mail service. Thus far, the company has released POP access, automatic forwarding, contact importing and signature capabilities to its users. With these features come significant concerns. According to reports, many users are worried that Google stores too much personal information on their servers. Google denied such accusations after being requested to comment on the issue.

Google GMail is still in Beta.

טוב חברה... בדקתי את העניין עם גורם אמין.. והנפח באמת עולה עם מונה כלשהו...

אני לא יודע כמה לשניה... אבל עכשיו יש לי 2052.. אתמול בערב היה 2051...

כנראה שבאמת זה יעלה גיגה בשנה...
