I want to connect my sister's computer to the internet, in order to save money i will probably do it through ethernet card..

she has VERY old computer, Pen 2 400MHZ... and i have 2.4C i wanted to ask if the connection between two computers can effect my comp in any way ?

I mean if she have a virus, any kind of problem... can it effect on my comp ?

it shouldn't affect, as long as you put shares as read only (if @ all).

and the p4-2.4 will handle internet sharing, no worries there

בשני המחשבים יתנתק אם המחשב שמחובר ישירות לאינטרנט (שלך) יתנתק מאיזשהי סיבה (ריסטרטים, סתם התנתקות וכו')

My comp is connected directly to the madem [Motorola SB4200] and i want to connect her comp to my comp => Home net

But i am afraid it will effect my computer too, cause if it does it doesnt worth the effort...
