התקנתי עכשיו php4.3.9 וקיבלתי את הודעת השגיאה

הראשונה שלי ב php.

ההתקנה בוצעה ע"ג פלטפורמת winxp המריץ שרת web מסוג apache2.0.5.

קובץ ההתקנה בוצע ע"י php-4.3.9-installer ובתחילת ההתקנה התבקשתי לסמן את סוג ה web server עימו אני עובד. ברירת המחדל היתה iis אך שיניתי את הסימון ל apache.

בסוף ההתקנה קיבלתי את ההודעה הבאה:

Sorry, the software to automatically configure the apache httpd.conf file has not been written. You will have to configure Apache manually. See the install.txt file for more details.

ובכן בדקתי את ה install.txt שהוא קובץ מאוד גדול ושם כתוב שעדיף לבצע התקנה ידנית ולא באמצעות ה installer. לא כל כך הבנתי בדיוק איך מתבצעת התקנה ידנית.

נכנסתי ל htpd.conf ולא ראיתי דרך לשנותו.

מישהו יכול להסביר לי מה משמעות הודעת השגיאה הזו ? איך לבצע התקנה ידנית ? איך לעדכן את

httpd.conf ?

ובכלל, מה עושה מי שלראשונה בחייו מתקין php ונדרש לפנות לקבצי conf של apache, ל install.txt של php, להבדיל בין התקנה של installer להתקנת manual . המושג "ידידותי למשתמש" קיים ב php?
