    בכל מקרה, למי שמתעניין, כבל USB יכול להגיע עד 5 מ' אורך, מעבר לכך, כל 5 מ' צריך לשים האב אקטיבי (עם חיבור כוח, שמגביר את האות). המקסימום (עם 5 האבים) הוא 30 מ' מעבר לזה גם ההאבים מאבדים מכוחם.
