יוביסופט מנסה לחזק את העניין סביב משחק הפעולה Rainbow Six: Siege עם גירסה "התחלתית" חדשה בעלות של 15 דולר בלבד.
 

הגירסה החדשה תכלול גישה לכל המפות, הנשקים ומצבי המשחק של Siege המלא, אך עם גישה רק לארבע דמויות (operators) שונות שמתוכן שתיים יהיו אקראיות עבור כל רוכש, ושתיים יהיו ניתנות לבחירה - כאשר גישה לכל 16 הדמויות הנותרות ניתן יהיה להשיג על ידי צבירת נקודות במהלך המשחק עצמו, או ברכישה נוספת בשווי של 35 דולר.
