לאחרונה ישנן פניות מרובות ל ISP ממשתמשים אשר טוענים שאינם מצליחים לגלוש.

התקלה מתאפיינת בקבלת הודעות שגיאה על bad/error Resolving או ע"י קבלת הודעת שגיאה: DNS Error - 305.

אין אפשרות לטפל/לעקוף את התקלה מרחוק ללקוח, שליחת טכנאי ללקוח אשר נמצא בחוזה תמיכה גם אינו מועיל.

התקלה מתרחשת במחשבים של לקוחות אשר עדכנו לגרסת 2015 של Avast, הכוללת את Avast Secure DNS אשר מגבילה את האפשרות לopen world dns.

ניתן להדריך את הלקוח לביטול הפונקציה:

To enable or disable this feature, go to Settings → Active protection. Next to Secure DNS, click on the ON/OFF switch. If you are turning it off, you can choose whether to do so temporarily or permanently in the menu which appears.
