After running DA:I for about 2 hours tonight and watching Resource Monitor the whole time, I can conclusively state that any of these reports are bullshit. Dragon Age: Inquisition DOES write to the disk... sometimes. Usually it's at 0B/s Sometimes it hops up to 3kB/s (very very rarely). I tested by making a new save point from the menu and when I did, it went up to 287B/s, so I can assume that when it auto-saves is when the disk writes happen. I have periodically seen it jump up to 3kB/s.To put this into context. Having my google chrome open, with 1 tab (this page and the comment I'm typing) writes anywhere from 5kB/s to 115kB/s. Just leaving chrome open idle on this page, chrome is writing 7kB/s to my SDD. System by itself is constantly writing about 150kB/s to my SDD.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is not super SSD killer, hell it's safer for your SDD than running Google Chrome.
