אם לא תפעיל XMP הם יזוהו כבעלי הגדרות נמוכות יותר מיכולתם(לצורך תאימות או משהו).

אם תפעיל XMP הם יעבדו בהגדרות מהירות יותר(שעברו בדיקות יציבות ע"י היצרן שמבטיח את יכולתם לעבוד בהגדרות אלו בתנאים המתאימים).
