    אני לא מדבר על המדיה שממנה התקנת את מערכת ההפעלה, אלא על הדרך.

    בין אם התקנת את גרסת Consumer Preview או Release Preview של Windows 8 עמדו בפנייך שתי אפשרויות:

    1. התקנה על מחיצה שונה.

    2. התקנה על המחיצה הנוכחית.

    לפי מה שאני יודע, אם ביצעת התקנה על המחיצה בה הייתה מערכת ההפעלה הקודמת שלך (מה שגרם ליצירת התיקייה Windows.old), לא ניתן לשחזר את מערכת ההפעלה.
