מה קורה כרישים ?

יש לי כרטיס HD 4870 שאחד מחיבורי ה - DVI שלו נדפק .. יש לי מסך שמחובר לאחד מהחיבורים ועד לפני שהחיבור השני נהרס, ה - LCD שלי היה מחובר אליו .. ראיתי באינטרנט מפצל חיבור DVI ורציתי להתייעץ אתכם לפני שאני קונה כזה .. חיבור 2 חיבורי DVI על חיבור אחד לא יגרום עומס שבסופו של דבר יהרוס את החיבור ?
