אז גרסאות RTM של Windows 8 / Windows Server 2012 כבר יצאו בתחילת החודש ליצרניות, אתמול הן יצאו ל-MSDN & TechNet ובסוף אוקטובר הן אמורות לצאת ל-Retail.

אבל מישהו יודע מתי הן ישוחררו ל-Software Assurance/Volume Licensing?

אגב, ישנם שינויים מהותיים מבחינת רישוי. יהיו 2 גרסאות מרכזיות בלבד, Std ו Datacenter. ועוד 2 גרסאות מאוד בסיסיות, אבל ללא יכולות של גרסת SBS הקיימת.

כל רשיון של STD, יתן 2 רשיונות ל VM. ו STD כולל גם Clustering.
