"Well, it appears that this "Anonymous Leaker" character wasn't bluffing, because now he's apparently released something that lets you play Half-Life and Counter-Strike using Half-Life 2's source engine. And he's also supposedly released an outdated build of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (it's going gold Friday, see yesterday's story) and/or possibly something that deals with Counter-Strike 2. We really don't care to know the details, and we can't exactly confirm this because we refuse to download these releases ourselves. And we of course strongly suggest you don't download any of this stolen material either.

The latest release notes are pretty much devoid of any commentary from the leaker, but they do seem to call into question the existence of a complete HL2 beta. While the notes confirm a HL2 "pre-Beta" isn't currently in circulation, that doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't exist and won't be released later. It's hard to say.

But I think it is safe to say at this point that perhaps Valve's and Vivendi's previous statement that only "a third of the source code was stolen" was perhaps slightly innaccurate."

someone know what is the commands to start the single player at HL2 beta...i got it before 2 days and now i have time to play it..

just write "map " at the console and you will get a list of all the game maps to play , you can also write "e3 " to get the list of the tech demos.

לבינתיים התמונות שראיתי מהבטא הן לא מרשימות (וזאת בלשון המעטה) במיוחד ביחס לסרטים שראינו מ E3.

למישהו יש כרטיס רדאון (או GF5900) ואת גרסת הבטא, ויכול להפריך את החששות?

יש לי ג'יפורס 4 TI אבל עדיין אני חושב שגראפיקה כזאת לא ראינו, גם אם כן מנוע כזה עוד לא היה

לדעתי הגרפיקה לא כזאת מדהימה אלא מה שעושה את ההבדל זה האפקטים במשחק והמנוע הפיסיקלי מה שגורמים למשחק להיראות כל כך חי ואמיתי, ההשתקפות האמיתית של המים, החזרת האור ממרצפות הפסיפס, הצללים האמיתיים ועוד...כל אלו נותנים מימד חדש למשחקים.

המחשב שלי נורא דומה למחשב השני שלך (P3 800MHz, 256MBSD-RAM וכו'), אבל יש לי את אותו כרטיס מסך כמו שיש לך במחשב החזק.

למישהו יש מושג איך יעבוד המשחק על מחשב עם מעבד חלש אבל כרטיס מסך חזק למדי ? ???

אני מאמין שהמשחק יצא בחג המולד.

כי Value רוצה לעשות כסף! ובחג המולד המשחק הזה יעשה הרבה כסף! במיוחד לAti וValue. שהוא מגיע עם ה9800Xt.

כל האקר מנסה לפרוץ לחברות שמוצאיות כותרים גדולים כמו Doom וHl2. אז לא יכולו לשמור את המשחק על שרתים שלא מחוברים לתשתית אינטרנט.

זה תחרות בין האקרים מי יצליח להיכנס ראשון ולעלות את הכותר כמה שיותר מהר. אז שלא יהיו מופתעים.

*בקשה מכל אלו שכותבים אנגלית. אין לי בעיה שתרשמו אנגלית אבל תכתבו משמאל לימין.
