התקנתי Windows 7 מחדש, והפעלתי את ה-First time wizard של Internet Explorer 8.

עכשיו כל פעם שאני צופה באתר אינטרנט ולוחץ על הטקסט, אני רואה סמן מהבהב (כאילו אני בתיבת טקסט שמאפשרת כתיבה).

זה ממש מעצבן (ולפעמים גולל את הדף למטה למיקום של הסמן, אם לחצתי על הרקע)!

מישהו נתקל בתופעה? איך אפשר לפתור?

OK מצאתי את הפתרון לבעיה...

מתברר שב-IE יש מצב שנקרא Caret Browsing ואפשר להפעיל/להפסיק אותו ע"י לחיצה על F7 (או דרך תפריט View).

זה מצב שמאפשר לגלול / לסמן טקסט בעזרת המקלדת (בדיוק כמו ב-Word / Notepad).

כמו כן הייתי צריך לבטל את "Enable caret browsing for new windows and tabs" תחת

tools -> internet options -> advanced -> accessibility
