I had posted the same thread 2 monthes ago and none helped me, maybe this time you'll be so kind and help me.

I got ADSL Alcatel 1.5 MBit with Onboard lan card / ABIT nf7 MOBO. I used to download on 200-210, and since the ADSL is connected to the new computer my max download speed is 90. I'm SURE I need to change something in the lan card's configurations, I had updated the mobo and everything, and the ADSL isn't the problem for 10000%.

Where are you trying to download from?

It doesn't matter, unitedkingdom website, israeli website, I always had a high transfer, but now it's 90-100 max.

In example: www.tucows.co.il , I used to download at 200 stable ALL the time since the new computer.

Look, its probably not NIC configuration. This can be proven/disproven quite easily - just connect your new computer to your old computer (or a laptop) with a twisted pair. Make sure the connection is negotiated to the same link as between your new computer and ADSL modem (look in network status, it should say whether its a 10 or 100 Mbps link). Then just transfer a file.

What makes you so sure its not an ADSL issue? You should try downloading files from your ISPs website - that minimizes chances that one of your ISP's routers is fubar.

Connect to the Bezeq server and make the download speed test.

if youll download at full speed (as you used to download) you'll know its the isp.

if you still won't get to optimal speed try scaning your computer / download a registry tweak program that will help you define some registry keys for broadband connection.

if that won't help write again and we will keep on helping.

Iv'e done the test, I surf on 969.6Kbps. What does it mean?
