שלום לכולם, צריך את עזרתכם בבניית מפרט למחשב שישמש אותי גם למשחקים (ברמה גבוהה) וגם לעבודה שוטפת.

ציוד היקפי כבר יש ואין צורך להחליף אותו.

אשמח גם לקבל הסברים על המפרטים שתציעו למי שיהיה כוח להרחיב טיפה.

התקציב שיש לי לטובת המחשב הע בין 5000-6500, כמובן שהשאיפה היא לא לבזבז כסף סתם, אבל עם עוד קצת כסף יתבטא בפער משמעותי בביצועים, אני בעד.

לא משנה לי איך הוא ייראה, אבל עדיף שלא ייעשה יותר מדי רעש, ושהקירור יהיה אפקטיבי

7. האם אתם צריכים מערכת הפעלה חוקית, הרכבת מחשב במעבדה או התקנת מערכת הפעלה במעבדה?

יכול לחסוך קצת כאב ראש, אבל אם זה מה שמייקר את הסיפור אפשר להסתדר

8. האם יש צרכים מיוחדים כלשהם?

לוח אם בעל כרטיס קול מובנה איכותי או לחלופין כרטיס קול איכותי שישמש אותי למערכת 5.1

9. האם חשוב שקט? עד כמה?

לא יותר מדי, אבל שלא יהיה טרקטור

10. האם מתוכנן OC? אם כן - עד כמה (בינוני/משמעותי/אקסטרים)?

11. במפרט למשחקים - באילו משחקים מתכוונים לשחק, על אילו הגדרות ובאיזו רזולוציה.

you're right, I missed it.

AMD boards can be had with a better soundcard for the same price, or you could cough up more money for a board with a better soundcard. I personally think that if gaming is your goal you'd do better to go with AMD.

if you're interested in a better build-in sound card on an intel motherboard you could try the

Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3 or GA-EP45-DS3

esentially two versions of the same board, comes with the realtek 889a chip instead of the lesser 888, although both chips support 5.1, and I wouldn't say the difference in performance justifies the difference in price between the boards. (150-200)

the difference is mostly because of the intel chipset used - the P45 instead of the P43. so it doesn't make much sense paying for the P45 when all you want is an improvement in sound.

I suggest asking in the motherboards forum for a cheap intel board with a good sound card or (if you're REALLY into quality sound) spending about 500-700 for a top notch add-on sound card

as for the 4870 - it is old, but no new cards of its quality came out since, so right now it's the best choice for you.

be advised new cards are due on September 10th, so if you don't mind waiting a little you can get a newer model instead.

well, that would depend on the prices

if waiting till september will get me a better card at the same ammount of money, or even 200-400 more, i might do it if it would justify the performance boost, any advice?

I don't know how badly you need the computer, and keep in mind that although the official release is september 10th, it might be a bit longer before it reaches Israel, but either way it'll definitely be a superior card and will likely effect prices of older cards as well.

but if you can wait a month, I suggest you do so.

alternatively you could buy this AMD rig, which I think will be better for you anyway, and use the on-board video card until the new ones come out:

a few words about the differences - a faster CPU, a better sound card, a better PSU (because I have no idea how much power the new card will need) and that's basically it.

the base platform costs about 200-300 more than the previous one, but you're getting a better system.

the PSU is debatable, you could find cheaper ones who are still good.

allright, so lets say i go for the amd build and decide to wait for the GPU, will the on board graphics card support low-mid end games such as wc3?

also, i understand the on board sound card supports 5.1 speakers right?

the on board graphics can handle quite a bit, although probably at lowered resolutions etc.

google "gaming performance 780g" to find out more

ill do abit more research before buying, but i think ill go for the AMD build as you suggested, though i havent yet decided whether to get the GPU or wait for prices to drop on the more advanced models.

also, im used to keeping my PC running 24/7, with the parts im planning on, do you think the case and cooling youve specified will do the trick?

המארז מאוורר מאוד וגוף הקירור טוב, אז לא אמורה להיות בעיה מעבר להצטברות אבק סטנדרטית, אבל נגד זה אין הרבה מה לעשות. פשוט שואבים את איזור המעבד אם יש איזושהי בעיה וזה יחזור לעבוד כמו חדש.

אם אתה מעוניין ביכולת קירור יותר רצינית (ולזה אין שום קשר למשך העבודה) אתה יכול ללכת על קירור שקט כמו ה-Zipang של Scythe, שהוא אחיו הגדול של ה-Shuriken, או אם אתה ממש רוצה להתפרע אפשר ללכת על ה-Mugen 2 של Scythe או ה-Vendetta 2 של- OCZ.

אבל לדעתי ה-Shuriken יספיק.

אני לא יודע עד כמה יפלו המחירים, אבל הדור הבא יהיה באופן טבעי חזק יותר ויתמוך ב-DX11, מה שיהיה נחוץ בשביל להוציא את המקסימום ממשחקים שיצאו ל-win7, אז שווה לרכוש אחד מהדור הבא ע"פ אחד מהנוכחי, ולכן לדעתי שווה להתאזר בסבלנות עוד 3-4 שבועות עם קניית הכרטיס.
