    מדובר בפורמט לא רשמי של אתרי "תוכן" למיניהם. מהות הפורמט הנ"ל היא קידוד מחדש של סרט ממקור HD כלשהו בעזרת הקודק X264, ההבדל בין זה לבין קידוד רגיל הוא שבקידוד M-HD מורידים את קצב ה-Bitrate כדי להקטין משמעותית את גודל הקובץ.
