הורדתי מהמחשב קבצי שמע בפורמט WMA. ניסיתי להמיר אותם ל-MP3 ולא הצלחתי. מכיוון שבהתחלה לא קלטתי שהם מוגנים ניסיתי תוכנות שונות להמרת הקבצים אך ללא הצלחה. רק כאשר ראיתי שאף תוכנה לא מצליחה להמיר את הקבצים הבנתי שמשהו בקבצים לא תקין.

בחיפוש באינטרנט ראיתי שהמליצו על תוכנת AnyDVD כתוכנה שיודעת לעקוף הגנות כאלו אולם התוכנה דורשת את המידע על דיסק ולא הצלחתי לצרוב את הקבצים מכיוון שהם מוגנים.
