התקנתי ויסטה אולטימט והוא עובד נפלא פרט לסאונד.

באתר אינטל אין דרייברים לויסטה.

האם ניתן למצא במקום אחר?

האם יש כרטיס קול חיצוני הנתמך ע"י ויסטה?

פשוט אין לי חשק לחזור לXP

מדובר בחומרה מאוד ישנה כך שהתמיכה בויסטה היא כבר לא דבר שפוט.

Thought I would share my experience with SoundMax (BAH!!)

I helped my flatmate install Windows Vista on his Intel D865PERL based system, everything works perfectly except the SoundMax (ADI 1985) driver after not finding any updated drivers on Intels website (the latest version is dated 4/13/2005!!) I sent them an email requesting information on the subject:

Thier reply:

> Windows Vista is not a validated operating system for the Intel®

> Desktop Board D865PERL.

They pointed me to this page for Supported operating systems:

Yes, I noticed the board is not designed for Vista, I just wonder you have any new information regarding SoundMax/Cadenza developing a Vista driver.

It seems the SoundMax chipset is installed on such a large user base that is would be important to develop a Vista driver.

My diagnoses WTF! SoundMax is on so many motherboards its not funny how can they not write a decent driver?!
