I've recently installed Ubuntu 7.1 on my computer, I have two different Hard Drives, one of tem is 250GB and the other 400GB. I did a terrible mistake and in the Ubuntu installation I've dedicated the whole 400GB driver to Ubuntu. Unfortunately I had 100GB of high quality media on that hard drive and now, it is all gone because of the installation.

When I'm running windows it does not even recognize the second hard drive and it is completely gone.

What can I do? Is there a way to recover all of my media that was on the Hard Drive? How can I control the Hard Drive through windows like I used to do?

Please help, I really need it urgently.

אם זה אובונטו סביר להניח שאתה משתמש במערכת קבצים :ext3

דבר ראשון - הפסק להשתמש באובונטו ולעשות כל דבר שקשור לכונן, כל הכתיבה וקריאה שאתה עושה כרגע מורידה את הסיכויים לשחזור הקבצים

דבר שני - _אל_ תפרמט את הכונן, זה גם עלול לפגוע ביכולת שיחזור הקבצים

אתה צריך להריץ NTFS Recovery על הכונן. תנסה אולי ממחשב אחר או מכונן אחר שיש עליו חלונות, או מערכת אחרת שאפשר להפעיל דרכה תוכנה טובה לשחזור מידע ממחיצת NTFS לשעבר.

בכל מקרה, כמו שאמרו לך, תפסיק מיד להשתמש במערכת ההפעלה שיושבת על אותו כונן. אגב הסיכוי שלך לשחזר קבצים גדול יותר אם יש לך הרבה קבצים קטנים, לעומת קבצים גדולים.
