Halo 3: Finish the Fight, more like Finish the Console - mass Disc errors/RRoD's reported

Masses of gamers have confirmed on the Xbox and Bungie forums that their copies of Halo 3 are experiencing disc read errors (over 100 posts at the current time of writing). However, but that is not all, beyond the disc error reports, there have been lockups and even the dreaded RRoD reported belived to be as a result of Halo 3. At the current time, most reports seem to be from the standard edition not the LE version with some speculating the discs contain corrupt data which damages the hard drive. The problems seem to happen randomly with some able to play the game fine for a few short hour(s) before problems begin while others are saying the problems are limited to just a few selective game modes.

Bungie investigating Halo 3 game save bug

Bungie has confirmed that it is aware of an issue which prevents Halo 3 gamers transferring campaign progress onto another Xbox 360 regardless of whether they use a memory unit or take your hard drive. A message churns out stating that it is 'unsafe to respawn' which then takes gamers back to the menu screen. Bungie are now investingating the cause of the problem and are trying to come up with a solution.
