יצרתי מקום פנוי, ועכשיו אני צריך ליצור מחיצת התקנה ממנו. באיזה פייל סיסטם לבחור?

what about a swap partition?

וSWAP אתה יוצר כמחיצה נפרדת.

Second one is my data partition

Third is a 5GB ubuntu one, which I mount as /

Forth one is a 700MB partition which I mount as "Swap"

חוץ מזה היא גם יותר מהירה לעבודה עם קבצים קטנים.

מאוחר מדי, הלכתי על ext3.

when i try to install ubuntu it says that "no root file system"

נסה לסמן שיפרמט אותה, אני חושב שזה יפתור את זה. (גם לי זה היה, אבל הצלחתי לסדר את זה...)

לך אחורה (למנהל מחיצות הזה), תמחק את המחיצה הזאת, ואז תסמן לו לפרמט אותה מחדש בתור הפייל סיסטם שבחרת. אחרי זה זה יעשה את זה, ואז תנסה להמשיך.
