ראיתי שהרבה משתמשי לוחות אם מבוססי nForce בחלונות התלוננו שהם רואים את ההארד דיסק שלהם ברשימה למטה בתור removable device ולא ידעו איך להוריד את זה. להלן הדרך להוריד את זה (בלי להסתיר או שטויות כאלו) ובלי לפגוע ב DOK למניהם (הם עדיין יופיעו).

הפעילו את עורך הרגיסטרי, regedit, וחפשו את המפתחות הבאים:

אם יש לכם מערכת הפעלה 32 ביט:

או

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvatabus

הוסיפו שם משתנה DWORD חדש בשם DisableRemovable ותתנו לו ערך 1.

הפעילו מחדש את המחשב וזהו

If you happen to be an nForce chipset user in windows, and want to make that removable hard disk icon at the bottom disapper for your fixed hard disk, but still be visible for disk on key and other stuff, do the following:

start up the registry editor, regedit, and look for the following keys:

if you have windows 64-bit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvata64

if you have windows 32-bit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvata

or

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvatabus

add a new DWORD entry named DisableRemovable with a value of 1.

restart your computer, and viola.
