היי,

אני צריך לכבות את הפונקציה הנ"ל בעקבות בעיה ב PLL של כרטיס PCI-EX שייצרנו.

לא הצלחתי למצוא שום חומר בנושא באתר של DELL,

וגם לא ב hw manual של ה server:

מה שהצלחתי למצוא זה שבדגם PowerEdge 4600 ישנו jumper שנקרא spread אך ב 2900 הוא לא קיים.

אשמח לקבל טיפים ועזרה.

    היות ומדובר ב server אז יכול להיות שאינטל (יצרני לוח האם) לא נתנו אופציה כזאת.

    כל הרעיון של spread spectrum הוא לאפשר עבודה של שרתים בחדר צפוף בלי הפרעות הדדיות.

    לפי הספרות שניתן למצוא ובלינקים שסיפקת אכן אין התיחסות מיוחדת לנושא.

    אתה יכול לנסות לשחק קצת בהגדרות ה BIOS ולראות אם יש אופציה כזאת שם, למרות שאתה אומר שבשרת האחר זה דוקא jumper.

    מכל מקום, היות וזה שרת ויחסית חדש, למה לא לפנות לחברה התומכת שלו ולשאול?
