Hey , I Got Myself a nice LCD screen 2x20, yet it has 20 pin connector :s05: and not a 16 as was described in the DIY section here.

All I know about Futaba is that they make remote controls for rc cars, planes etc

i'v been at their site earlier and found simmilar models to mine.

Sorry to disappoint you but, this is definitely not an LCD display.

Although it can display characters it is a dot matrix display based on VFD and it is relatively old technology preceded the 7-SEG LCD displays. It is in use today because it has much more brightness than LCD display and it can be useful in tough light conditions. However. It consumes much more power than LCD displays.

Your model is probably an older one and therefore not in Futaba web site. You can compare with other similar models in that link: http://www.futaba.com/products/displays/standard_search/index.asp

You should search for dot matrix two lines displays, but they all have much more than 20 connections.
