שלום,

יש לי XP עם SP2 .

אני מנסה להתקין Quake 4 וממש בתחילת ההתקנה כאשר הוא כותב Configuring Windows Installer מיד לאחר מכן מוצגת שגיאה בנוסח הבא :

Error -1607 Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Run Time

אחרי חיפוש בגוגל וכאלה, הגעתי למס' לינקים כגון -

עקבתי אחר ההוראות ושום דבר לא עזר, באחת מהפעמים קראתי שיש להריץ פקודה ב"התחל--הפעלה" בשם msiexec /regserver .

ניסיתי להריץ אותה וקיבלתי את השגיאה שמצורפת כתמונה.

חיפוש על השגיאה הזו העלה גם כמה תוצאות, אך הן לא סייעו .

אשמח אם תוכלו לסייע לי, מכיוון שאחרי שבירת ראש של שעתיים אני לא מצליח .

במחשבים של אחי ואחותי המשחק מתחיל את ההתקנה ללא בעיות, וניסיתי לקחת מהם את ה-3 קבצים msi.dll msihnd.dll msiexec.exe , וזה לא עזר.
