יש לי תוכנה שמבצעת תהליך ארוך מאוד שלוקח מספר ימים ותופס את רוב כח המעבד, כך שאם אני צריך את המחשב לצרכים אחרים, אני חייב לבטל את כל התהליך (אין בתהליך אפשרות ול "Pause/Resume" לצערי).

האם ניתן (אולי בעזרת תוכנה) להקפיא חלון/תוכנה כלשהי כפי ש"מצב שינה" של XP עושה, אבל רק לחלון ספציפי?

    לא, מה שכן ניתן לעזור זה לפתוח את ה TASK MANAGER, ללחוץ על הכפתור הימני על ה PROCESS הזה, ולשנות את ה PRIORITY להכי נמוך (נראה לי IDLE), ככה הוא לא אמור להפריע יותר מדי ולהשתמש רק במשאבים פנויים..
