Hi![glow=red,2,300]

I have the MSI 5600 FX,128m"b[/glow]I was working on my PC, playing, watching movies, and installing codecs, programs and such.

The problem is that something happened & I don't know what caused it.

The Problem is:

Everything connected to 3D graphics-games and the ALCHEMY visualisation in the Windows Media Player now show strange grid & diagonal lines.

No overclocking is done!

What could cause it?.

Different drivers installation didn't help, and official MSI driver doesn't boot windosws ! ! !

I'm helpless

Please any kind of Idea will b gratefuly appreciated!

    כדי ליצור את זה תכנס להתחל, Run, תריץ שמה אתה הפקודה dxdiag, תן לה לסיים את איסוף המידע, ולמטה בלשונית הראשונה יהיה כתוב save all information. תשמור את זה לקובץ ותעלה לאן שהו ותצרף לינק בתגובה הבאה שלך.

    Well first of all, here is the picture, it shows the same, only the lines blinks in a mixture of colours, and lines, gorizontally, and vertiacally. very strange.

    אתה אומר ששיחקת, עשית הכל - ויום בהיר אחד התחילו הבעיות?

    יכול להיות שזו בעית חום - המארז שלך מאוורר היטב? המאוורר על הכרטיס עובד?

    תפתח את דלת המארז ותנסה לעבוד. תכבה את המחשב תשאיר אותו מכובה לכ-30 דקות, תעלה אותו מחדש ותנסה לעבוד שוב.

    Nope, It didn't work...I tried removing the driver using Detonator Destroyer, and then Nasty File Remover (from guru3d.com) and then reinstalling back the 61.77

    It didn't worked..

    What can possibly affect only 3D graphics, but the driver ? ? ?

    The Dx Diag file from Directx 9.C- is in the previous message

    ממה שאני רואה הכרטיס כנראה תקול, תנסה אותו על מחשב אחר, אבל אני בטוח שתקבל אותה תוצאה. אם יש אחריות תממש אותה.

    Well First of all, after a few days, which severly damaged my nerves, and after a little "[glow=red,2,300]KRIZA[/glow]" I just dissasembeled the card from the PC, Ripped of it's cooling,together with the heatsink, and found out the reason for all this fucking mess. . .[glow=red,2,300]DUST .  .yep, DUST was all over the Heatsink, Blocking the Plastic Tunnels, and therefore trapping the Hot air in the heatsink . . . [/glow] I therefore Cleaned the card & completely removed the Plastic FAN, and it's surrounding plastic Tunnels .Here is a picture:x

    What's left, was a big aluminium plate, above the GPU unit. Surprisingly, the PC booted and all the games worked.x

    Now the card runs with no cooling at all at 42'c (checked by a digital thermometer & MSI PC Turbo) There fore I can assure you, that PASSIVE COOLING WORKS,without overclocking of course... Well, that's all, Hope, you all learned from this case...
