i've been installing some new programs last night (mostly visual aids such as objectdock and objectbar, samurize, etc') and i'm having problems writing in herbew now. in word, for example, alt+shift does not switch between languages as it used to do, and i can only do it using ctrl+shift. things get worse here or in icq messages, as i cant switch to hebrew at all. all the control panel options seem to be normal

first. try uninstalling the software...

second try to restart the language bar,

this is how you do it...

right click the taskbar, go to toolbars, click language bar

if the language bar was already checked than to it again,

do it again to restart it.

if now than now it should be activated, try to switch the language...

if the keyboard shortcut doesn't work, try clicking the language bar with your mouse to manually select hebrew

if that doesn't work try uninstalling hebrew support for the keyboared and then installing it again,

to do this go to regional and language settings in your control panel....

by the way, youll need an XP cd to do it...

if you got windows xp ,follow these instructions to add hebrew

1.goto start>>run ,type "intl.cpl" without the quotes and click *ok*

2.goto "languages" tab select the first checkbox called "install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including thai)" ,click *apply*,you might be asked for the windows cd

goto details>>add ,under "input language" select "hebrew"

click "ok" and again "ok"

3.goto "advanced" tab

under "select a language to match the language version of the non-unicode programs you want to use" select "hebrew" ,click "ok"
