אני מחפש פיתרון ללהיות מסוגל להשתמש בOCULUS RIFT. יש לי מחשב נייד DELL INSPIRION 15 SERIES 5000 שיכול להריץ את האוקולוס מלבד הכרטיס הגרפי שלא מספיק מהיר.

כלומר המעבד, הזיכרון וכל השאר מספיקים.

אז דבר ראשון האם ניתן לשדרג את כרטיס המסך של הDELL הזה? גם קצת חבל כי יש לי עליו 16GB זיכרון.

אומרים שהוא מחשב מעולה ומשתלם במחיר מלבד ההרד דיסק שלו שהוא ממש גרוע. אבל אחריי שמחליפים את ההרד דיסק לSSD אומרים שהוא עובד פצצה. לפי הביקורות לפחות.

אז בהנחה שלא ניתן להחליף כרטיס מסך בנייד. האם כדאי לרכוש את המחשב הזה ולהחליף לו SSD? או שאוליי אפשר לבנות מפרט זהה ביכולות אבל יותר זול למחשב מותג הזה?
