גם אם הזכוכית והLCD דבוקים ביחד זה לא אומר שאי אפשר להחליף רק את הזכוכית אם היא מתנפצת....

זה גם לא ממש מסובך רק שצריך מכשיר כזה שמחמם וחוט מתכת דק כדי "לקלף" את הזכוכית.

זה מוזיל משמעותית את העלויות ורוב המעבדות שמחליפות מסך בעצם מחליפות רק את הזכוכית (וגובות מחיר של מסך).
