אני כרגע על גרסא 1.2.

לפי זה חייבים לעדכן BIOS כדי לעבוד עם הכרטיס.

אממה, עדכון ה- BIOS לא מומלץ עבור sandy bridge על פי MSI .

דיווחי משתמשים עבור MOBOS דומים (לא זהים) נעים בין אפשרויות OC מוגבלות (לא בעייתי מבחינתי), ל- bricking. (מקור: חיפוש בגוגל "msi me8 sandy bridge").

במידה שמישהו מכיר את הנושא - האם אכן מסוכן לעדכן את ה- BIOS במקרה שלי?

נ.ב. ניסיתי להתקין את הכרטיס עם ה- BIOS הנוכחי ונראה שאכן לא עובד - המחשב לא נכנס ל- POST עד שלא הסרתי את הכרטיס ושחזרתי את ה- BIOS על ידי ג'ימפור.

עדכון: ה BIOS עודכן והכרטיס הותקן בהצלחה.
