I just cant make my final decision.

I`ve built to systems:

1. Establish on Barton`s core - 2800+, for games, performence one .

2. the second with same budget, but establish on A64 Core, Average one (same budget and better products).

My question is which of them to take? the A64 very good and got the new technolegy of 64 but contains an average mobo because all the mobo`s for A64 are new, and got lots of bugs like no AGP/PCI lock and stuff like that.

Beside it, the system establish on Barton is very good cause cheaper then the A65 products and same budget, good video card (ati9800pro/ and the a64 - fx5900XT) good mobo for oc, stable .

so what do you think i`ll should take, performence or reliability?

שטויות גמורות , בעתיד גם לא תצטרך OC , קח את הA64 עם הלוח של אסוס , IGAL תקשיב לי.

אני הייתי גם הולך על הברטון.

קצת מוקדם לרכוש עכשיו מערכות מבוססות 64 ביט, יש עוד מה לשפר.

You're batteling over this issue for too long, and for no real reason actually.

A64 3000 vs AXP 2800?

Difference in performance - not something noticable.

Advantage for A64: future support in 64bit application. not gonna be anytime soon.

Disadvantage: VIA boards dont have PCI/AGP lock - bad for OC.

FX5900XT vs R9800Pro?

Difference in performance - not something noticable anytime soon.

in short: תפסיק לטחון מים and buy the damn thing already..

אני חולק על הבחור שמעלי, בין הFX5900XT לפי באנצ'מארקים יש המון המוןןןן הבדל.

ויש הבדל בין הA64 לברטון.

אם אתה רוצה אמינות לך על הברטון אם אתה רוצה ביצועים לך על הA64.

אני חולק על כולם

יהיה לו ביצעוים יותר טובים בזה דבר שיאפשר שידרוג אבל אם זה דחוף לכך קח amd 64 3000+ כי ה64 ביט לא יקח להם יותר משנה להגיע

סליחה שאני מתערב בקשר לנושא אחר לגמרי אבך יש לי מנעול על pci בלוח האם החדש שלי ואין לי מושג כיצג להעיף אותו?

ולמרות שאני לא מבין כמוכם אני הייתי הולך על ברטון הרבה יותר טוב עכשיו

יכול להיות שה-5900XT ניצח שוב פעם?

אז כמו שניתן לראות ה-R9800PRO לא מנצח בכל מקרה, אומנם בד"כ כן.. אבל לרוב זה רק בפריים או שניים, לפעמים ב-10-15 (בד"כ כשמפעילים את ה-AA וכל השטויות האלה).

העניין שההבדל ביניהם לא שמיים וארץ ולא עקרוני לרוב האנשים.

הטענה שלי היתה שההבדל הוא לא משמעותי מספיק כדי להתלבט עליו במשך חודש.

כנ"ל כלפי המעבדים, ההבדל בביצועים לא ממש עקרוני כל כך, והוא לא ישים לב להבדל.. אם הוא רוצה תמיכה של 64 ביט בעתיד, אז סבבה..

אבל שיפסיק לשגע על זה את השכל, ועוד כל פעם עם ת'רד חדש בנושא אחר.

אבל מה עם האיכות תמונה של הרדיאון?

כמה דברים:

לא כדאי לחכות לסוקט 939 בגלל שגם כשזה יגיע זה עדיין יהיה יקר ותצטרך לחכות עוד כדי שהמחיר ירד.

אני לא חושב שמישהו הזכיר את זה כאן, אבל Nvidia, כשהם מוסיפים XT לשם של הכרטיס מסך זה אומר שהוא יותר איטי מהגרסה הרגילה וכמובן גם מהגרסת Pro. אני הייתי לוקח את הRadeon 9800P בלי לחשוב אפילו - בעיקר בגלל שהוא פשוט יותר טוב במשחקים עתידיים כמו Doom3 and HL2.

אני הייתי לוקח את הAXP64 3000+ בגלל שההבדל בינו לבין ה 3200+ הוא לא במהירות שעון אלא בגודל זיכרון מטמון וזה לא כל כך משפיע על האת'לונים. סיבה שנייה לקחת אותו זה שאני תמיד לוקח את המעבד הכי איטי בסדרה של מעבדים (כמו לקחת את הפנטיום 2.6 גיגה מהסדרת C - אלה עם הבאס 800 מגה-הרץ), זה משאיר יכולת לשדרג (כבר היום יש את ה3400+ שיהיה כדאי לשדרג אליו בעתיד, אחרי שה939 יצאו).

You right but her`s the problem. i cant take Radeon9800p with the A64 system because i`ve got not enough budget for this and with the 2800+ barton i can take excellent 9800p with a good sink on him and since the budget is the same for both systems, if i`ll the A64 system i need content myself only with 5900Xt.
