wanted to know about this mobo, is he good for A64? he contains :

S754/FSB1600/DDR400/6USB/2SATA/4PATA/LAN/LAN/RAID/AGP8X.

Or better to take the

Asus K8V Deluxe ? Cause someone in the forum said there was many reports on him that he`s a problems...

Guys, i saw few reviews on the worthwhile mobo for A64+, and very very impressed by Soltek SL-K8AV2-RL , this mobo was leading in most of the benchmarks and got a very cheap price compare to his performence! - 150Aus$ = 500nis.

It was highely recommended by most! he`s only disadventage is he`s design which designed without any additional controller chips.

but is this additional controller chips so important? he`s performence amazing!

or maybe take the AOPEN AK86-L which was also contain high performence and cheap price - 199Aus$ - 600nis aswell and also contains additional controllers chips.

Drownz, Check this site's news archive for Janurary 2k4, there is a big A64 mobo review, and they reccomnend about the Albatron X8X800 Pro II or the MSI one. Check it.

tell ur friend to wait with this buy.

as some1 here said already, the new chipset of NVIDIA just came out Nforce3 250, and they fixed many problems in this chipset and added to its perfomance. on top of all they fixed the lock of the AGP/PCI, which improves the mobo OC abilities.

and it is made of only 1 chip, by that they improved the latency.

so my advice is wait, it would be worth waiting a while, till the companies will produce theire mobo's with this chip, and the prices will get lower.
