The laptop's sound card is of a low quality compared to a high quality sound card.

You need a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) to improve the sound of the speakers connected to the laptop.

the first one is a dac

the second is an external sound card with usb that support 5.1

Apparently it is not possibile to find it in Israel ......zap............

in any case can you suggest which optical cable to buy ? i think on z906 there are 2 optical inputs

probably a stupid question , but with the z906 i got cables of 3 different colors , to connect the subwoofer with my future external usb sound card ,why they are worse then an optical cable, sorry for the ignorance

hey everybody

at the end I purchased the Sound Blaster x-fi surround 5.1 pro and also an optical cable of tomslink

I finally got all the speakers of the z906 ringing

but.......

cannot find a control panel for the z906 neighter for the sound blaster

and also apparently the usb cable ( mac book air connected to sound blaster ) operates at a speed of 1.1.

this can effect the quality of the sound ?

please someonne has some tips in order to how to get the maximum from these spekears with this macbook air ?

frankly speaking i dont feel the sound ( power and quality ) to be particularly impressive.

לא הבנתי לאיזה לוח בקרה אתה מתכוון

בקשר למהירות ה USB באתר של קריאייטיב רשום שהתקן הוא USB2.0 , זה אכן עלול להשפיע במידה מסויימת, תנסה לבדוק הגדרות ב UEFI
