הספרים שלו עוסקים במלחמת העולם השניה והוא נחשב לאחד הסופרים הגדולים בנוגע למלחמה ועל ספרו "אחים לנשק" מבוססת הסדרה המדהימה הזאת.

הספר הנ"ל שאני מעונין בו עוסק ביום הפלישה לנורמנדי ומקיף יום זה מכל זוית אפשרית, רק חבל שלא מצאתי שום מידע עליו פה בארץ.

בכל מקרה לא מצאתי שום מידע על הספר בארץ ורציתי לדעת אם מישהו יודע אם הספר עבר תרגום לעברית ואם יש להשיג אותו כאן בארץ ואם כן אז איפה ובכלל אם מישהו יודע אם ניתן להשיג את ספריו של אמברוז בארץ.

השם של הספר למי שלא הבין הוא : D Day: June 6, 1944: The Climactic Battle of World War II
