מדובר בממיר עתיק עוד מהתקופה שהוט בחיפה והצפון נקראו מת"ב.

הממיר משמש את אבא שלי לצפייה בטלויזיה.

עדכון תוכנה אמור לשפר דברים ואולי גם להוסיף תכונות חדשות לממיר ולתקן באגים.

עדכון 21.8.2012: מצאתי בגוגל בקלות יחסית איך מעדכנים את הממיר הנ"ל:

1. מנתקים את הממיר מהחשמל.

2. לוחצים על הכפתור Esc.

3. תוך כדי לחיצה על הכפתור Esc, מחברים את הממיר לחשמל וממשיכים להחזיק את הכפתור לחוץ עד להופעת מסך עדכון תוכנה.

4. הממיר מעדכן את עצמו ולאחר מכן עושה ריסט וזהו.
