    On 25 September 2009, we took advantage of a new eBay facility to block buyers in specific countries. We chose to block countries where we experience postal losses of more than 20% of standard airmail packages. Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Romania, Malta, Israel, Turkey, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, and others, fell into this category. Please be assured that our decision was not personal, it was a purely business decision.

    We are not able to make single buyer exceptions on eBay, firstly, because they will still block buyers in blocked countries but also because we cannot specifically require buyers to purchase the fully tracked postage option.

    EBay have made changes to allow us to require buyers in the blocked countries to have fully tracked P&P. However, we have not implemented the changes on our listings yet because we are negotiating with courier companies to achieve the best possible prices to the blocked countries. Until these issues are resolved, then, buyers in blocked countries can only purchase via our own website.
