A few days ago I got the new revision of the Epox 4PDA2+ and right after assembling I began to overclock using a lovely kit of OCZ PC4000 Gold.

The board has an option to enable several peformance enhancement options in the bios and all sorts of PAT alternatives but I haven't touched any of those yet.

I began at 250 FSB synced with my 2.4C and slowly rose to 260, 265 and currently 270 FSB, everything synced.

I tested stability with a few 3Dmark runs, Sandra runs and a few hours of Prime 95.

Vcore : 1.600V

VDIMM 3.2V

There's still more to come, I'm gonna see how far this RAM can really go.

    They can take it, 3.0V is the default for 500 mhz with these.

    The board didn't need any VDIMM mod, it gives 2.50-3.30V.

    It's a Spark 7+, I don't know about the temperatures, the sensor is unreliable since it illogically jumps from 50 c to 70 c and back down within a few seconds at times which is obviously incorrect and impossible, I'm disregarding that at the moment.

    3Dmark 2001SE score with a Radeon 9700 Non pro that was not overclocked, changed or tweaked in any way is around 15700, compared to around 14,000 before the overclock

    לזה אני קורא לוח לאובר מקסימלי ללא מודים ;D

    בהחלט כל הכבוד שיש בלוח אפשרות למתח כזה גבוהה לזכרונות.

    גם ב- IC7-MAX3 יש אפשרות למתח עד 3.3, לא?

    והמתח הדיפולטי בזכרונות משתנה בין המהירויות שלהם?

    The MAX3 doesn't give 3.3 by default, not sure how much it does.

    And you have to set the voltage manually for above 400 mhz or it will stay at 2.70, doesn't detect automatically.

    The new Revision of this board is simply superb, much much better than the 4PCA3+ (875P) Rev 1.1 I had before when it comes to overclocking and stability, that board didn't make it to windows at 260 FSB synced.

    Epox sure did some fine work on this board, highly recommended for any overclocking lover that doesn't want to get a mortage on his house for a motherboard.

    קודם כל - לכל מי שלא יודע - ל MAX3 יש בעיה "קלה" בכל מה שקשור ל VDIMM - כל ערך מעל 2.8 הלוח לא עובד !

    בארה"ב יש את מדיניות ה RMA ואנשים מחליפים את הלוחות כמו מים ל P4C ועושים לו VMOD, החבר'ה ב ABIT הוציאו לא מזמן VMOD גם ל MAX3 ו REV חדש שפותר את הבעיה - אבל בארץ המצב רחוק מזה ...

    גם ה P4C ב DEFAULT שלו לא נותן יותר מ 2.85 לזכרונות ...

    לגבי התוצאות -

    לא מרשים בכלל - ראה תמונה מצורפת ותראה את ה BUS של הזכרונות - וזה עוד עם ה TWINMOS שלא סבלת ...

    270 ב 1:1 וזה מה שאתה מקבל ?

    הייתי רוצה לראות קצת תוצאות עם PAT ...

    ולגבי ה PI - תוצאה חביבה, אבל אני מזמן מתחת ל 40 שניות ... - תן עוד קצת MHZ - אולי זה יעזור

    Your memory results are obviously better due to PAT, this is a 865PE board and I haven't tried to enable it since my goal is only to see how far the memory goes and I don't want to create unnecessary obstacles.

    Your lower Pi result is obviously lower due to your consierably higher CPU speed, there's no room for comparison here.

    Regardless, the OCZ are currently running 275 FSB (2.5-4-4-7, not much room for limbering) synced and the results are also around 6050-6100 in Sandra (to make the point if I go back to 500 mhz and add PAT it adds over 200 points to the benchmark so if I were to work with PAT I would get much better results than you.

    Problem is that I had to add more Vcore to get the CPU to run at 3.3 ghz, I don't intend to go much further since I am unwilling to endanger my CPU.

    I will see how far they go without adding more Vcore but I reckon they should be nearing their limits, most reviews closed 560 or so with them.

    There's no doubt that taking these OCZ and combining it with the new Epox 875P revision which is improved like the 865PE will give superb results with PAT.

    I don't think the MAX3 is the king of the hood anymore, this board certainly shows superb overclocking possibilites.
