Intel CPUs have several protection mechanisms to prevent them from dying, but I assure you, take a P4 and give it 1.85V for enough time and it will die.

the fact is that most of the fried cpu's are AMD cpu's! I never heard that an Intel CPU got fried.

זה חצי אמת. אינטל כמו שאמרו פה מאד רגישים למתח ויש להם המון הגנות (בעיקר מורידים מהירות ועומס...) AMD מקבלים המווווון המתח בלי בעיה! לוחות לAMD לרוב נותנים בתור אופציה אפשרות להרבה מתח שלא כמו לוחות של אינטל שמגבילים...

ואם יש משתמש שלא שם לב לטמ"פ שלו ואין לו מושג ונתן הרבה מתח אז כן, כנראה ילך המעבד..

The new CPUs are a whole different story and untill some time passes and more people get an impression of how they are I don't regard them in this context.

Regardless, in my opinion they are also simply too expensive to be considered right now.

It's normal mate their asnswer are never in the right context.... nah i am JK any way his right 64 bit is not the standart and specialy with the fact that windows which is a pretty importent basic program for all the normal homeuser and is not out yet.....
