ברשותי נייד T42 עם 512KB זכרון מקורי DDR1 במהירות 333 שנרכש עמו. (לפי CPU-Z זכרון PC2700 166MHZ)

קניתי יחידת זכרון נוספת שהוצאה מנייד אחר 512KB DDR1 במהירות 333MHZ שסימנו על המדבקה gpm333x64sc25/512/j והתקנתי במקום הפנוי - אולם המחשב אינו עובד עם השניים. (מסך כחול עם הודעות שגיאה)

    או שהכרטיס לא מתאים לנייד, קורה הרבה שניידים של IBM לא עובדים עם סוגים מסוימים של זכרון.
