רציתי להפסיק את הפעילות של מערכת ה system restore אני נכנס למאפייני המחשב שלי ואז בוחר בלשונית ומקבל פשוט הודעת שגיע על כך שהתוכנה ביצעה פעולה לא חוקית והיא תיסגר. כאשר אני עושה את אותו הדבר דרך control panel ו system ושם הלשונית המתאימה מתקבלת הודעת שגיעה הבאה:

Exception occured while trying to run "Shell32.dll,Control_Rundll" C:\Windows\system32

sysdm.cpl",System\

מה בדיוק ניתן לעשות כדי לפתור את התקלה, האם התקנה של WIN XP מחדש היא האפשרות היחידה.
