Hi, first of all I'd like to point out that i'm new to the entire scenario of computer modding, even though i've been looking at projects and learned about hardware from the internet for almost a year now...

I recently bought a new computer:

AMD Athlon XP 2500+

Abit NF7 nforce 2 v2.0

2 x 256MB Corsair XMS PC3200 DDR CL2

Enermax 2 fan PSU

And last but not least - Chieftec Supertalent aluminum 5 fan case + window

The parts I added into this machine form my old computer:

Leadtek GeForce 2 GTS 64DDR

Maxtor 60GB 7200RPM HDD

Sony 48x12x48 CD burner

Pioneer DVD drive x12

generic floppy drive

(I attached a picture of the entire thing built)

My problem now, is...

after i build the computer.. i realized all the cables are messy and i'm getting an ugly view of the inside of my computer.

I want to orginize everything nicely in order to be able to look insice the case and recognize everything immidiately wihtout running into the electiciry and the gray wires (heh, what are those called ? :\)

I live near pandas.. and i figured buying some nicer looking cables for the inside of my computer can do the trick..

So i need your people's suggestions of what to buy...

(by the way, I only type english because my keyboard doesn't have hebrew, but i can read hebrew very well)

אתה יכול ללפף על הכבלים איזולירבנד (רק לא לבן...זה מכוער..), או לשים עליהם אזיקונים.

אתה יכול גם לדחוף אותם אל מאחורי הלוח-אם, הוא בתבנית שיש לך למפרתי ה5.25 לשים את הכבלים בפנים כך שהמתכת תסיר אותם...

ד"א אתה יכול לעשות לי טובה? מה האורך (מהאחורה עד הקדימה של המארז...) ומה הגובה של המארז? (בס"מ כמובן..)

כבלים עגולים כמו שאתה רוצה לקנות בפנדה ממש יקר.

את יכול להכין כבלים עגולים לבד, ניראה לי שיש מדריך באתר.

לי היה את אותו בלגן במארז שלי, דחפתי את כול הכבלים של הIDE לתוך המפרצים. ואת כול הכבלים של המארץ והמאוררים קשרתי עם אזיקונים. כול הסידור הזה הוריד לי לפחות 4-5 מעלות, אני מאמין דם לך הוא יעשה את העבודה.

למה המאורר במתחת לכרטיס מסך נמצא בתוך המארז ולא מחובר לחלון, הוא לא ממש אפקטיבי כי הוא לא מזרים אויר קר מבחוץ.

מאיפה הוצאת את זה?

בטח שהוא מחובר לחלון.......

how do i know which cable is have..?

לפי בהארדיסק שלך אני כמעט בטוח שיש לך ATA-133.....למרות שאם זה דיסק ישן זה יכול להיות גם ATA-100.

תקנה איזה 3 מטר צינורות לאקוורים ותעשה מזה ספירלה ותעגל הכל אני עשיתי ככה.

מארז נחמד רק חבל שאין גומי על החלון
