שלום רב,

ברשותי לוח האם ep45-ud3l המכיל בין השאר X4 PCI-Expres x1.

ברצוני לרכוש את ה- gigabyte e8000 שהוא tv-tuner המתלבש על PCIe.

רציתי לדעת האם הכרטיס יתאים ללוח, מכיוון שמבחינה וויזואלית החיבור יתאים ללוח אולם אינני יודע האם דה-פקטו הכרטיס יפעל.

    PCI-E קיים בגדלים שונים של אורך, בין 1X ל16X.

    כל כרטיס PCI-E יכול לעבוד בכל סלוט PCI-E כל עוד שהוא זהה או קצר מהאורך של הסלוט.

    לדוגמא, כרטיס X1 יכול לעבוד בכל סלוט PCI-E כולל בX16 ארוך שבדרך כלל מיועד לכרטיס גראפי.
