hi

i had a problem in my computer that it stoped and i couldnt do anything to restart it

except the reset button

i thought it was a widows problem but after i had formated it and replaced the windows 2000 with

the xp it continued doing so.

i remember i had a problem like it a long time ago but i replaced the memry and it stoped

i have 3 sticks now.

is it the memory and if so is there a way to find the stick that doesnt work?

the problem gets worse and worse

    Run memtest on each stick seperatly and look for the damaged one.

    Write the results here and then we'll continue to see if it could be other problem(like the memory banks)
