חוץ מזה שהם מגיעים לרזולוציות יותר גבוהות, באותה רזוציה כמו מסכי XGA, יש להם אותה איכות?

    למסך LCD יש רק רזולוציה טבעית אחת בניגוד ל CRT שאפשר בלי שום בעיה לכוון אותו לרזולוציות שונות, לכן בשביל מסך 15" כדאי שיתמוך ב 1024*768 כאשר רזולוציה גבוה יכולה להיות חיסרון בנוחות העבודה מולו.

    בשביל לעבוד ב 1280*1024 בצורה נוחה עדיף מסך 17".
