What's great about it: Pretty much everything

What's not so great: Speaker and sound quality

"Overall, the product is good for the given price. It is a better experience for me than my 2005 HP, just because this computer is newer and lighter. However, the only thing is the sound quality, it is low on volume, and not quiet clear. With the blue-ray player I was expecting for a better sound."

What's great about it: You get alot for what you pay, comfy keyboard, lots of features, upgradability

What's not so great: Very weak speakers, design not very space efficient

"To start off, I already love this thing. For 830 bucks, you get a laptop that has the battery life, portability, and heat dispersion equal to a multimedia notebook, but the ability to play some decent games and movies as well. It's very sturdy, and very light too, much lighter than my old IBM Thinkpad which is actually smaller. 64 bit Windows 7, 4 GB of RAM, upgradeable to 8GB, a decent processor, decent battery life. The 210M graphics card enables me to play HL2 on full settings with an average of 40fps, easily playable. Killing Floor on high with no AA gets about 40fps as well. Portal on high gets 50fps. On low settings this could even play more taxing games like Assassin's Creed or Prototype, etc. The keyboard is very easy to type on, though could use a numpad! Comes preloaded with some fun programs for webcam use, as well as Norton and Office trial. Plays Blu-Rays too, though you wont get much out of it if you don't play it on a HDTV with the built in HDMI output. I tried it on my 42" HDTV watching Blu-Rays, it was nice. Though you gotta turn off the display on the laptop to play a DVD on a HDTV, remember that.

My biggest complaints are that the speakers are very quiet, and create distortion easily. It is a laptop, but there is plenty of space on or below the palm-pad for bigger speakers. As well, having to hit a combo of buttons to adjust volume and brightness is kinda a downfall. They coulda fit some small buttons for volume and brightness on the keyboard like on my old IBM Thinkpad. Lastly, the lid doesnt come out all the way flush with the bottom, so there is some space there that could be used to increase the screen height a tad...just seems like they didn't utilize space very well. As you can see, all the downfalls are merely aesthetic, not performance based!

Overall, I'd highly recomment this laptop for those in the 900 and below budget. You will not find a better laptop for that price. Believe me, I've been shopping online for hours a day the past week. Having built my own PC's at home for the pat 7 years, I know what to look for, so trust me, it's a GREAT deal."

אז ככה, אני מחפש נייד חזק ואמין, 12-14 אינץ... איפשהו היופי גם קצת מדבר.

ראיתי בחנות את הDELL VOSTRO 1220 ו ה 1320 ה1320 ממש מכוער וגם גדול מאוד יחסית ל13.1

ה1220 יותר סקסי בגלל הגודל אבל עדיין מאוד סולידי וקוים ישרים ולא מעוגלים.

בארץ אני מעוניין לקנות רק DELL בגלל האחריות ויש לי להשקיע 4500 ש"ח.

כרגע חבר שלי נמצא באטלנטה- ארה"ב.

ואם זה יוצא משתלם אני אשמח לקנות דגם טוב/תואם של סוני.
