RTM צריכה לצאת עד סוף החודש. לא יהיה שום הבדל בינה לבין RETAIL שתסופק לחנויות ב22 לאוקטובר.

RTM נועדה כדי לתת לחברות הזדמנות להעריך את המערכת ולהתאים את התוכנות שלהם/ ליצור דרייברים למערכת הפעלה

לפני שמליוני אנשים יקנו אותה בחנות.

אם למשל הייתה יוצאת ווינדוס 7 וATI עוד לא היו מוכנים עם דרייברים בשבילה (סתם דוגמה) מי היה מפסיד כסף?

RETAIL זה סה"כ לקחת את הRTM, לצרוב על דיסק, לשים באריזה יפה עם תג מחיר.

נראה לי מוזר מאוד.

מה שאתה אומר בעצם זה שהפיתוח היסתיים כבר?

בעיקרון כן, ב20-25 ליוני אמורים להדליף את הRTM Escrow

זאת אומרת ש 4 חודשים לפני שהמערכת תתחיל להימכר היא מוכנה בעצם וגרסתה הסופית תסתובב לה ברשת?קצת מוזר לא מה אם יגלו עוד באגים בזמן הזה זה יאפשר להקארים לעבוד על פריצות זה מהלך קצת טיפשי לדעתי אבל בסדר אם ככה נחכה לסוף החודש נהנה ממערכת גמורה סוף סוף

כן הפיתוח הסתיים.

כבר בגירסת הBETA 7 הייתה יציבה מאוד, למעשה מגירסת הבטא הראשון 7000 ועד היום לא היו לי בעיות רציניות (מסכים כחולים, תקיעות וכד')

כמה באגים קטנים שסודרו במהלך הבילדים.

שינוי יהיה בRETAIL רק אם יתגלה משהו באמתתתת רציני, כל מיני באגים קטנים שיתגלו ישמרו לSERVICE PACK שיבוא

או שיתוקנו ע"י UPDATES כמו XP וכמו ויסטה בדיוק.

אני יודע שמהבטא היא היתה יציבה מאוד אני משתמש בה מאז פשוט לא נראה לי הגיוני לסיים פיתוח 4 חודשים לפני התחלת מכירה אבל אם אתם אומרים שהגרסה הסופית יוצאת בסוף החודש כלומר עוד 15יום אני מאמין לכם

נגיד אני עכשיו מתקין וינדוס 7.. ואז יוצאת לה הגרסא המלאה - אני יכול פשוט לעדכן או שאני אצטרך לפרמט שוב?

להתקין מחדש (לפחות בויסטה זה היה ככה)

תצטרך לפרמט ולהתקין מחדש (סימוכין, יש בפורום MSDN).

אני בטוח שאפשר יהיה לעקוף את החסימה, ולשדרג, אבל זה לא יהיה חוקי ואתה תצטרך רישיון חדש לווינדוס 7.

בדיוק בגלל זה שאני שואל, כי אני מתכוון לקנות ווינדוס ברגע שהוא ייצא.

אני בטוח לא אקנה אולטימייט... אבל HOME PREMIUM בהחלט נשמע לי טוב. השאלה היא האם אוכל לשדרג מ RC לריטייל של אותה גירסא כשהמערכת תצא.
