After becoming desperate about my current problem with my good old pc, I began to think about getting a new one as I don't have the time to hassle with trying to fix this old one.

So anyhow, if I'm going to buy a new one I will probably buy it from KSP as it's the only normal PC store in my city, and I don't have time to waste on buying it from far stores.

I'm totally uneducated about the new hardware that's out in the market, and I know I can count on you guys on suggesting the best bang for the buck.

My budget is not too high 3000-3500 and I can spend even a bit more if it's going to be worth it.

I've got a 22" monitor and I would like to play video games every once in a while. And if I'm already going to play, I would like to play on high settings on 1680X1050.

How are the Quadcore CPUs? Is there going to be a difference anytime soon between them and the Dual core CPUs?

Which video card should I be picking? 9800GT? or some ATI equivalent?

I'd love to see your advices,

Regarding the graphic card -

read here. HD4850 is the best choise.

Regarding Quad-Cores for gaming - Read here. I'd choose E8400 instead.
