אני הולך להכנס עם y1(וכנראה JISBOS, נראה כמה אפשר למתוח את אנטולי).

אנשים, אני לא יודע מי ומה שלחו הודעות פרטיות לאנטולי, אבל אם אתם רוצים להכנס אבל-- מפחדים מ-DIY, SMD וכו'

אל תתבישו, יש מספיק מי שיעזור כאן.

בהחלט יש מי שיעזור

אני לא אזמין את הקיט מאחר ויש לי בנאדם שמדפיס לי מעגלים בקובצי gerber שאני מביא לו וגם מלחים לי את כל הרכיבים

בכל אופן headwiz אתר עם מעגלים ומאמרים מעולים

כל בנאדם שלא בטוח אם הוא רוצה

יקבל את המלצתי, אני בטוח שהתוצאה תיהיה מבורכת

כבר בניתי כמה מגברי mosfet שלהם

I hope to have a gamma1 up and running very shortly if you guys want to have a listen. I've got most of the parts and am just waiting for my proto boards and a few little extras that Ti's already sent on their way (for the 'full' version).

BTW, the b24 really is a fantastic sounding amp. I was fortunate enough to meet Ti at his house in California earlier this summer. I got to help out with the b22 group build for a head-fi user and was surrounded by very captivating, clear sounds throughout his place. The amp didn't even have an attenuator and was DEAD SILENT. It was a real pleasure to get to hear some of that gear, but that didn't compete with meeting some of the guys there..

שלום אנטולי

יצא לי לבנות את זוג מוניטורים SWIFTY ממדיסאונד,לשפר ולהכין קרוסים לרמקולים בכללם הRTL3

ומספר עבודות DIY אחרות פחות קשורות לתחום.

אני כרגע מעוניין בDAC למחשב: חשבתי על Zhaolu D2.5, XONAR D2, DIY DAC.

הבנתי שאהבת את הZhaolu D2.5 איך הוא בהשוואה לXONAR D2 או הy1?

בעבר הייתי מרכיב הרבה מגברים , התחלתי עם chip amps והמשכתי ל solid state .לא ממש חובב את מגברי ה MOSFET והמנורות , העדפתי תמיד את הטרנזיסטורים הרגילים .

הייתה לי מערכת TRI AMP בבניה עצמית , אבל פירקתי הכל .

קצת ירדתי מהתחום והמשכתי עם תחביבים אחרים . יש יותר מדי snake oil בתחום האודיו . אחרי שהבנתי את זה , התחלתי לעסוק בזה פחות , הרגשתי שהגעתי לאיזשהו שיא ,משם הכל כבר היה אותו דבר .

אחרי תקופה מסויימת חזרתי לזה שוב , הפעם בניתי מגברים לרכבים . זה היה אתגר בשבילי כי היה פה משהו חדש שהייתי צריך ללמוד.

הייתה תקופה שהייתי גם מוכר , אבל הפסקתי עם זה דיי מהר אחרי שהבנתי שמגבר מוכן עולה יותר זול ממה שעולים לי הרכיבים בלבד.

את ה PCB הייתי מתכנן ומייצר לבד בבית , כך שלא היה צורך להזמין .

רכיבים מ וכאלה...

היום תחום המיקרו קונטרולרים מעניין אותי , עכשיו עברתי לדירה חדשה , יהיה לי מספיק מקום לעשות ניסויים :) ואולי גם קצת מגברים.

Well, in comparison to an Alien, which many of you may be familiar with (my average perception of an alien at least, and I have ones with black gates, ES/vitamin Qs and the standard silmic IIs):

The soundstage was the first thing I noticed. the better channel seperation really widens this and gives a much better feeling of depth. It has loads of detail in spite of staying warm (with the alien, it was always a tug of war more of one less of the other thing). Better resolution right off the bat, and I was comparing broken in black gates to spanking new silmic IIs. The WM8501 dac is actually powerfull enough to power my headphones straight up to levels louder than I need. With their low impedance though, the high pass filter created left me with a seemingly surgically accurate sound with loads of detail, so the thing is producing it. the warmth that's let through with even a mini^3 balances out the sound to something much fuller and satisfying, which does seem to cloud over some of the detail, but it seemed too much anyway. may be different with higher impedance cans straight up. I still need some more listening time to get a grasp of more of the differences, and even articulate them. I dont think I'll even try too hard to make such comparisons though cause I appreciate the aliens for what they are and it's like comparing a mini^3 to something 3 times its price. to each its own. It's definitely another league of a DAC and most probably my main companion for quite some time to be.

Regarding the build. The build actually was pretty easy and no part was harder than say the 28-SSOP pcm2707 some may be familiar with (mostly easier, actually). There are quite a few options in the build so it was a little less straight forward, specially with a handfull of prototype mods that have been straightened out in the production boards to come . The circuitry is quite a bit more complex than an alien and requires a bit more background if you'd actually like to understand whats going on and possibly troubleshoot, so its not quite a starters build, despite its mostly through hole layout.

All in all, I say it follows the standard price/performace curve the DIY audio segment has and is well worth putting togethe.. Offer's still up for a listen if anyone's in jerusalem sometime.

עם כל הכבוד ל-Alien, הוא חתיכת חרא :silly:. כן, הוא עולה גרושים, אבל הוא גם נשמע בהתאם. הוא נשמע פחות טוב אפילו מדברים כמו Audigy.

המכשיר החדש עם זאת, הרבה יותר מעניין. נראה כאילו יש לו הרבה פוטנציאל. יש לך מכשיר רציני יותר להשוות אליו?
