אהלן,

אתמול התקנתי Windows XP 64 ביט, והכל עובד מעולה. עם זאת, ולאחר שהתקנתי מס' דרייברים (אני חושב שזה קרה אחרי הדרייבר של המעבד של AMD) פתאום קיבלתי מסך כזה:

כאשר לוחצים על ה- Default, המחשב כותב הודעה שחסר קובץ של ה- kernel, או מבצע Reset.

ה- boot.ini נראה כך:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS /usepmtimer
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Professional x64 Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /usepmtimer

- כלומר, אין איתו שום בעיה.

ניסיתי לשים את ה- timeout על 0 ובכך להסיר את התפריט, אך ה- default הוא ה- default :-\

    ב-Vista ה-boot.ini כבר לא בשימוש ומחליפה אותו אפלקציה שנקראת BCDEdit

    אני בטוח שתסתדר איתה

    ואם בכל זאת היא עושה לך את המוות כי היא דוסית אתה יכול להוריד את הכלי ה-GUI שלה
